Dan and Martha Crawford moved their family from Mississauga, Ontario to the Kawarthas in 1993.
It was the love of water, the peaceful surroundings,
the cultural influences and the beautiful outdoors
that attracted them to this area.

Selwyn Shores Waterfront Bed & Breakfast hosted
its first guests in the fall of 1994, and has delighted
in 'hosting the world' since then.

Dan and Martha are both actively involved in the community through volunteer service;
in sports, education, and tourism.

Dan fishes professionally all summer representing Team Shimano on the Pro Bass circuit and when not competing, enjoys fishing everyday from home.

Proud Winner of the Peterborough Chamber 2005 Hospitality Award! Martha has a background in catering, having owned 'The Backdoor Gourmet' catering service for ten years in Mississauga.
